Books and More Books!!!
This month all the books I have read have either been by Carol Higgins Clark or Leslie Meier. Both are mystery writers. I love a good mystery. I have 2 more books to read by Carol Higgins Clark then I am finished with all that she has out at this time. I have lined up 2 more mystery series that I will be starting next week. The first is the Pennsylvania Dutch Inn series by Tamar Myers. The other is the crochet mysteries by Betty Hetchman. I am looking forward to starting another series by a new author. I pre-ordered Nicholas Sparks new book "Safe Haven" and it will shipped September 14th. I look forward to getting that book. If you know of a great mystery series, let me know. I also have read Joann Fluke's books and Laura Levine's in the last several books. I love to read. The more (books) the merrier I am.

Did You Hear That???
Okay, if you have looked at my reading list for March you will have noticed that I have been busy. They have all been murder mysteries. This is not the usual thing that I read, but I had picked up a lot of these books at a thrift store for an incredible low price. I read the first one, and it wasn't that scary; so I continued on reading. By night I had read 3, and I had worked myself up to a good fit of paranoids. I heard noises in the distance that didn't sound right, and several times I heard noises in the house. I have refrained from waking Mark up because I know it is just my over imagination in high gear. Well, early this morning I got the scare of my life, I mean I was gulping down air and shivering while my rescuer laid next to me snoring lowly. I heard something, but then again I had been asleep; so maybe I was dreaming. Now I heard it...someone was walking up and down our porch. I went to peek out the window when the noise pierced my ears and my hand went over my mouth to keep from screaming. There on my porch was my neighbors big old white rooster crowing at 6 am. When you are dead asleep and a rooster is walking on your porch and crowing...it gets your attention. Luckily, I didn't ask Mark if he heard that? I wanted to get up early, but not that early. The joys of country living!!

3rd Day!!!
This is the 3rd day that the yuckies have stayed with me. I am kind of tired of them. I hate feeling bad. I see things that I want to do or that needs to be done, but no energy to do them. I have gotten my tree and some decorations in a tote. Everything was down, but I just didn't have a tote to put everything in. It has been really cold here, but thankfully no rain has fallen lately. They say something about snow tomorrow, but I will believe it when I see it. Nothing that exciting really to blog about, but I am bored. I did check out about 8 library books before we left, so I have had plenty of reading material. I did get to read Nicholas Sparks latest book "The Last Song" last night. Not bad, just predictable as usual. That man loves to kill someone off in a book. I still think "Dear John" is my favorite, although "The Rescuer" was great also. Those 2 need to a movie. I am making out a grocery list for Mark now. I love it when he does the shopping...he buys things that I wouldn't buy, but really wanted to. Well, the yuckies are winning again, so I will say goodbye.
