Life!!!

I got the sad news tonight that a classmate of mine lost his wife to cancer. I haven't seen this classmate since graduation, but recently reconnected with them on Facebook. My heart goes out to him and their 2 teenagers daughters who are left without a wife and a mother. Life really is short. Life has no guarantees. There's no rhyme or reason why things happen to people. And to be honest sometimes it is hard to see God's plan in a sad situation. Although I know He has a plan and nothing happens by accident, we are still human and we still wonder why. I certainly don't have the answers, but I trust God. He is in complete control and makes no mistakes. He is there to comfort us in our times of sorrow. He engulfs us in His loving arms and cradles us as we cry out our hurts, disappointment, rejections and sorrows. He is a loving God. My heart felt sympathy goes out to the White family tonight. I think about all the times Stephen made me laugh in school and cheered me up. I only wish I could ease the pain for him some how in this time of sorrow. Say a prayer for this family.

The Angels Rejoice!!!

Several weeks ago Mark and I were asked to do the bible story for VBS on Thursday night. As you know, we are not here on Thursdays. We come back every Friday for the weekend, and weren't sure it would be possible. I really wanted to participate because we are at our church so little because we are gone all the time. We discussed it and decided that we could rearrange our schedule for that week. Thursday night is always evangelism night at VBS. It is the night where you bring everything together and point the children towards making a salvation decision. It is a delicate time. You want to share the gospel and allow the Holy Spirit to work in their lives. You don't want to push them into a decision.

It was soon decided that I would tell the bible story and Mark would end it with telling how to become a Christian. Our story was about the crippled beggar in Acts 3 that was healed. The lesson in the story was God Can Change Your Life.

We arrived at the church in the afternoon to decorate and get ready. That is when I found out Pastor Herchenhahn would be in the room with us all evening. I just prayed and asked God not to let me mess up and say the wrong scripture. LOL. I wasn't upset, he is a wonderful man.

All bible story times (there were 4 groups) went well. Then we went to the closing ceremony. At the invitation, the kids were given the opportunity to come and receive Christ. All these kids just got up and starting coming forward. They weren't shy or intimated or anything. They weren't ashame for others to see that they were choosing Jesus. If only adults would be like that.

Mark and I had the honor of leading 5 boys to Christ. I know the angels were rejoicing in heaven. 22 kids at last count gave their hearts to Christ on Thursday night. What a thrill it was to our heart. I am so glad we rearranged our schedule. I would have hated to have missed this blessing.

My D-I-V-O-R-C-E Becomes Final August 23rd!!!

Well, this week I got served with divorce papers (it's okay to gasp). I knew it was coming. After all, we haven't been getting along that well since January. I mean I wanted to talk things out, but they only want to squash my communication. I thought things were better until this week. I saw the official paper in the mail. I knew what the letter said before I even read it. Sprint is divorcing me!!! How utterly ridiculous is this I ask you?? They say that I talk to much while roaming. I say put up more towers. Our divorce date is set for August 23rd, but I plan to make it a quickie divorce and leave them this weekend. We are off to see if US Cellular will marry us and to see what kind of prenup we have to sign to marry them.

They say that our one year marriage is over. Boowhoooo!!! Who cares!! It was the sorriest service ever. I left Verizon for them, and they were even worse.

Look at the devastion on my face!!! I only hope that I will be able to text again after this ordeal.

Andrew Went Missing!!!

If you read my Facebook page on Tuesday, then you know I ran an insane amount of errands in a torrential down pour. I won't bore you with my errand list. Okay I lied, I will bore you. I went to the library, PO, 2 banks, the pharmacy, grocery store, Michael's, Sally's, Chick-fil-a and the License Plate Agency. Maybe that is not an insane amount and then again maybe I forgot some places, but it is a lot of places to park and get in and out of the rain. I put $28 aside for tags for the van. Why oh why doesn't the state of NC not take a debit for crying out loud. I can pay for a Big Mac or a car wash with one, but not tags for the van. Okay, I am getting into a whole other blog now on that subject. Anywho, getting back to losing Andrew. I tromped in and out of places in ankle deep water while lightning flashed around me(not a fan of lightning..it can kill you!!!). I start to the license place and realized that I only had $8 of the $28 that I started out with. Andrew was missing!!! I searched this van like a cop dog sniffing an '80's Camaro with flames painted on the hood for dope. Nothing!! Nada!! Zip!!! I guess you realized that I didn't find Andrew in the van. Progressing on (or am I digressing??) I even retraced my steps, because now I had to go to the ATM for another Andrew. I never did find my original Andrew. I gave up, and realized that maybe someone else needed it worse than I did. I remember not long ago I didn't have $20 to lose and it might have meant that we couldn't have bought groceries (okay, mom and dad would have bought us food, but you get the idea and little drama never hurt a story). I mean don't follow me around waiting for me to toss buckets of money all over the place, I am still poor just not as poor. This week I can afford to spare it...I think. I am just hoping that whoever found Andrew really needed him, and needed him more than I did. I just hope that any dope that the K9 unit finds in a car wasn't bought using my Andrew.

This is a very striking resemblance of my Andrew that went missing . I didn't have time to put his face on a milk carton, but you get the idea.

Nice Surprise!!!

This picture was waiting for me on my email when I got up this morning. What a nice surprise to see something so precious first thing in the morning. Davis is just the cutest thing ever....I want to see him Jess!!! Babies are so precious, and this one is no different. What a wonderful way to start my day.
Little Davis Ian Garner....our first nephew!!

It Makes My Tummy Happy!!!

To quote our niece Kate, "It makes my tummy happy." That is what I was thinking today when I opened the cooler door at our local store today. My eyes immediately settled on my favorite drink in the world. Stewart's Orange 'n Cream soda...the diet one. You know when you are already too sweet, you have to drink the diet variety. I was so excited that I did my happy dance right there in the store. My happy dance is me smiling while pumping my hands in the air (I know it needs some work). I only got 4, which I am proud to say that there is still one left; but not for long. They do sell these at Cracker Barrel, but they are very expensive. These are only a buck a piece at this store. It just made all the errands I had ran in the rain worth it. I came home and settled down to sip my orange 'n cream (okay I chugged it down), but it was still delicious. My tummy has been so happy!!!

I Believe I Was Hustled!!

Tonight after all is quiet and everyone is in bed (Mark's dad), we decided to play cards on the bed. First mistake, you really need a flat surface. We couldn't decide on what game to play. He knows spades and hearts, but I don't. I know canasta, but he doesn't. We decided to play 500 Rummy. First one to 500 wins, only we don't keep score...who wins?...we don't know. The first game I stomped him, and that was the last time I won. Mister, I don't remember how to play beat my butt. I felt like I was in a pool hall playing pool with a guy named Herbert, only his real name was Snake. Mark beat me real good for someone who doesn't really know how to play. Could I have been hustled by my own husband??

Holding On!!!

Have you ever wondered why you hold on to certain items? I have a tote full of things from my childhood. I exchanged letters with my two best friends, Barbara and Karon, for years, and I still have them all. I have all my report cards, awards and certificates from my school days. I have the ring bearer pillow, my shoes, guest book, dress and lots of other things from my wedding. Now, everything I have mentioned so far are things you would expect me to save. I have one thing that I can't seem to get rid of, but I don't know why. Pictured below is a Chanel Ribbon. It was on a package that my dad gave me at Christmas. He got me a huge bottle of Coco Chanel, and this ribbon was on the package. For some reason, I can't get rid of it. I am not exactly sure why that is...he has given me lots of presents over the years, and some have been perfume. There was nothing special about this perfume, it was a Christmas gift. He always buys me perfume at Christmas...otherwise, I couldn't afford it. LOL I have thrown this ribbon away twice only to retrieve it out of the trash. It stays in my overnight bag that I carry back and forth with me every week. I often wonder that since we take care of Mark's aging parents, do I see life as fleeting? I am not sure what is down in my subconscious that won't let me part with a simple ribbon. Could it be that my dad was diagnosed with cancer this year, and some part of me wants to hold on to everything and every memory that I have? I am not sure...I just know that I can't let little piece of a ribbon go for some reason. I will say this, every time I see the ribbon I think about when I opened the gift and thought, "I can't believe he got the huge bottle." LOL I don't understand the need for the ribbon, but for now it will stay in my bag and travel back and forth with me. Sometimes it is the little things that mean the most (okay Daddy, that doesn't mean that I don't want more perfume next Christmas).

The Chanel Ribbon that I can't part with.

How Irritating!!!

Why oh why do I pick the wrong lines to get in everywhere I go. I went to the bank today and got behind the SUV below. She was already in line when I got there. I sat behind her for about 3 to 4 minutes when she put her money in the cylinder and hit the send button. WHAT??? I thought she had already had her stuff sent and was waiting on the teller. Then she got the cylinder back and did something and sent it back. She don't know how tempted I was to walk up to her window and tell her if she had that much business, then go inside. I refrained and stayed in my van, but it took every ounce of my energy to do so. I guess she didn't know how irritated the cute driver behind her really was at her inconsideration for others in the drive thru.
After leaving the bank, I wheeled into Chick-fil-a to get our lunch. I found that my level of irritability only raised as I sat in the drive thru line. The van driver below was yapping on cell phone and not pulling ahead with the line. She yapped as the line moved forward and she didn't. I finally had to honk the horn to get her to move, and she rewarded me with a dirty. Don't look nasty at me, you're not the one moving. I almost went around her, but decided not to since there was a parking lot full of cops. I am sure what she was yapping about was ever so important.

Today has been irritable to say the least thanks to inconsiderate drivers who thinks every thing in the world waits for them.

Joining Up!!!

After seeing all the great fruits and vegetables that Amanda got this summer, we decided to join Sandhills Farm to Table Co-op. I was so excited when I read what would be and could be in the fall boxes. First of all, I am a huge greens and winter squash fan. I loved what they said would be available. There are a few things, like rutabagas, that we don't like but my parents do; so we will be sharing with them. We opted to get a box every other week, because with just the two of us it would be hard to eat a whole box of vegetables up every week. I can't believe you get a box full for only $21. Produce is so high in the grocery store, and this is cheaper than growing a garden ourselves. Our first delivery is the first week of September for the fall orders. The best part is one of the pick up places is a half a mile down the road for us, that made it even a sweeter deal. Can't wait to get our first box of goodies and also help out our local farmers.

Got My Rear in Gear!!

Today I got my act together. and started my diet. I feasted on celery and boiled eggs. Okay, I ate Wendy's hamburgers and Hardee's burrito. I once again evade my diet and put it off yet again. Actually, I did start and finished some projects. I personalized 7 books to put on Ebay and I finished a whole scrapbook. I also decorated a vase for a friend, and I finally got my closet cleaned out and organized. Yep, I got my rear in gear today and got a few. things accomplished. I will have to get into over drive for the diet, but that is months away.

This is some of the projects that I got done, and they are already listed on Ebay.

In Neutral!!

The creativity part of my brain must be in neutral. You should see all the projects that I have bought to do, but they sit in my laundry room untouched. I had every intention of completing these months ago, yet there they still sit. Taunting and teasing me everytime I go by, and reminding me that I am lazy. Here is the funny part. I have 2 orders of things coming that I will have to put together and do. Why oh why would I order more craft projects to do when I haven't done the ones I have already bought?? Compulsive!! Actually I am making all this stuff to put on Ebay. I think now I just have some much to do that I feel over whelmed. So tomorrow, I am getting my butt in gear and getting out of neutral. I will post finished projects within the next two weeks, okay within the month. I am going to get into gear, but I am going to get in over drive.

She Pouts, I Give In!!!

In more ways than one, she has communicated that she wants bacon. I say no, you have to eat what I have fixed for you. She outright refuses!! Okay, then don't eat...I don't care. I leave her in the kitchen to eat, and as I leave I hear the all familiar sneeze of her...this is her I am not happy noise. I leave and decide to stick to my guns, no bacon eat your food. After 20 minutes I go back in the kitchen and food is scattered all over the floor. I almost get upset until I notice she has her face buried and cocks her head up with the look of "I am so sorry I acted this way.". I cave like a deteriorating building and start dragging out the bacon. I decide not to fight a 10 year anymore. I mean what is the use, she wins; she always win. How can you not look into that little furry face and not cave. That is right, Lilly the shih-tzu dog wins at getting her way once again. See why I don't have children? I can't even discipline my dog. She pouts and I give in. This shouldn't be a news flash for me, it has been happening for 10 years.

Wonder No More!!!

This afternoon we decided to go eat Mexican for lunch. We were seated in our booth and ordered. I couldn't help over hearing the conversation in the booth behind us, which was a mother, daughter and small children. The mom called over the waiter and told him that they thought the cheese dip was free (it cost $3.75), and didn't think they should have to pay. The waiter told her no it was not free, and they would have to pay. She then said those incriminating words, "well, it I had known it wasn't free, then I wouldn't have ordered it.". BINGO!! You ordered it!! They automatically put the salsa and chips on the table, because they are free, you have to order the cheese dip. After the waiter left, the mother told the daughter that he didn't buy it; so she guessed they would have to pay for the cheese dip after all. And we wonder why the world is in the shape that it is in?? Mothers teaching their child how to con and scam to get something free. I was disgusted that I couldn't eat. Okay, that was a lie. I scarfed down 2 tacos and a buritto. Still it makes me mad when people try to get something for nothing. So wonder no more why the world is in bad shape.

Two Cuties!!

What a sad place this world would be without children. Although we don't get to see them nearly as often as we would like to see them, these are two cuties in our family. Kate and Madelyn. Madelyn will be one this month and Kate turns 3 in September. I think that we might be getting to see these precious little ones before too long. Had to share their pics with you. Neenee was here today showing us videos and photos...she is not proud one bit. LOL

Kate on her Pappy's boat. I hear that she is called "Captain Kate".

You have gotta love this look on Madelyn's face. Oh yeah, I could smooch on her big time right now.

My Weekend In A Nutshell!!!

We fly home every Friday afternoon. I bring the same bags back with me, and it is pretty much routine...until. Until we actually reach our house, then the fun begins. We rush in and make sure that Lilly is settled before we take off again. This Friday found us at El Cerro Grande feasting on a great cuisine of Mexican food, and then over to Costco's to stock up for the weekend. It proved to be a great trip...lots of fresh fruits. We came home and made Waldorf and 7 layer salad along with the shrimp salad we bought at Costco's. Saturday found us out just a bit before we headed over to Preston and Connie's for the new quartet to practice. They were awesome. The Casteen's were so gracious and just welcomed everyone into their home. Sunday the quartet, that just practiced for the first time the night before, found themselves featured as the special music. They did a fantastic job. After church, Mark and I found ourselves at Barnes & Noble bookstore...not good. We are book lovers. Soon we both had an armful of books and DVD's. I was just in pure heaven. After a browsing time there, we headed to the Longhorn for lunch. I had their Citrus Glazed Chicken with fresh asparagus. Mark did the chicken tenders along with fries. We picked up a piece of Key Lime Pie to take home along with most of our lunch. They really give you large portions so we had plenty left. Then it was over to Belk's to buy some shorts. Guess what?? In the middle of July they don't have any shorts in stock. A reminder to myself...buy shorts in February next year. Then it was off to home where I knew my bed was calling my name. Sometimes a nap makes me feel worse, which was the case on Sunday. Monday found us getting Mark's blood checked, it was too thin. After a quick lunch at K & W, we were back at Costco's. We bought a new air conditioner for our kitchen. Oh the many woes of window units. The new one will be put in this coming Monday. Lots of laundry to do and some cleaning finally got done. We went to Wendy's and picked up some dinner for us and mom and dad. Went over there to eat with them. Tuesday is always a mad house trying to get everything ready to hit the road. We finally got things together and got gone. Well, that is my weekend in a nut shell.

Contradictions!!

Have you ever felt like you contradict yourself all the time? That is the way I feel sometimes about things I say that I like and dislike. I say I like something and a few sentences down the road I make it sound like I don't like that thing. Here are just a few examples (you are just getting a closer look at my weirdness)

  • I love a tan, but I don't like the sun. You have to have sun to have a tan. No coffin tan bed for me.

  • I like summer, but I don't like the heat. Well, duh!!! They kind of go together.

  • I like to go swimming, but I don't like getting wet. I know, this one really doesn't make any sense at all. Maybe it is a laziness thing. After you swim you have to take a shower.

  • I love to eat, but I don't like the fat that stays around. I mean get real, some of this fat has over stayed it's welcome; but I don't know how to tell it to go home. LOL It must think it is home on my body. LOL

  • I like to fix my hair for it to look nice, but I hate touching hair. If you are a follower of the old blog, then you know that touching hair gives me some kind of weird anxiety. Go figure!!

  • I love to hear bugs at night, but I don't like mosquito's. I don't really know if they are a bug or just a pest.

See what I mean. It is like I contradict myself in what I say I like or dislike. Maybe it is the fact that there is just one thing I or a little something that I don't really like about something. Maybe I am not contradicting myself at all. Maybe I really don't like somethings, but I am trying to convince myself that I do. Well, maybe not....I tried to convince myself that a tan didn't matter. Then I went swimming (and got wet) and got a little tan and I love it...so a tan does matter. Isn't this just the mind boggling blog ever, and really doesn't make a hill of bean sense. It is just at 4 am, this topic sounded fascinating. Maybe I should look up the word fascinating. LOL I know that most of you are agreeing with me on that one. Oh well, just a random 4 am thought rambling through my head.

50 Cent Find!!!

I finally got to go treasure hunting today at our local thrift store, Whispering Pines Thrift Store. I haven't been in ages...I haven't had the time. They have everything in the store 1/2 price except for jewelry. I found Mark some Savane and Haggar dress pants for $1 each. I got some vintage Tupperware for .25. It was a great day in the thrift store, but I found something today that I have been wanting; but didn't know that I wanted it. I have been wanting something to keep some lemonade or water in when we are out and about that would keep it cold and be easy to use. Well, I found it today at Whispering Pines Thrift Store. I found the Aladdin Pump a Drink Jug. It works like a charm and is so clean it looks new. You pump the top and your lemonade come pouring out the spout. The best part is that it was only 50 cents. Can you believe that? I was so excited when I found it. I have found personal coolers there before for 50 cent and $1 each, but this was so much better. It would be a great item to take to the pool or the beach. I am just so excited (it doesn't take much) that I had to share my find.

My Aladdin Pump-A-Drink Jug for the low cost of 50 cents.
Notice how clean this jug is...it was a steal.

I am not sure why people don't like to go treasure hunting? It is like a surprise party in a way. You never know what you will find, and how cheap you can get it for.

Baby DIG is Here!!!

Our little baby DIG is here...finally. Little Davis Ian Garner came into the world on July 5th...I am not sure about the time, but I believe it was after 6 am. He came in weighing 5lbs 15 oz and 19 inches long (my info. comes from Aunt Gail). I don't want to brag, but isn't he just beautiful...the most handsome baby boy ever. He must have been anxious to see us, because Grandpa tells us that mommy wasn't even in labor 3 hours. Note to Adam and Jessica if you have more children, never play around about getting to the hospital if you even think a little bit that you might be in labor. LOL I would have posted this earlier, but I was waiting on photos to be sent to me of this little handsome fellow. I know I have already said this, but isn't he just the prettiest little boy you have ever seen.

Davis Ian Garner aka Baby DIG. Isn't he just precious? I am already planning on spoiling him rotten.

The proud parents of Davis...our niece and husband Adam and Jessica (giggle box) Garner. Don't they have that proud parents look???

Look at all that hair that little DIG is sporting. I can't wait to see him.

We want to say congratulations to Adam and Jessica. Also Congrats to Grandpa and Grandma...Mark's brother, Dwight and his wife Patricia. I can't wait to love on little Davis and spoil him just a wee bit. This is the first boy in our immediate Garner family since Mark was born 50 years ago...you know we are not going to spoil him one bit. Just know Baby DIG that you are very much loved....we have loved you since your mommy told us about you. Also remember, Aunt Tracey is Baby DIG's favorite. We will work on that when I see you. I will help you learn to say that sentence. LOL

Welcome to the world Davis Ian Garner. It's already a better place since you arrived....WE LOVE YOU!!!

Some Consideration Please!!!

This was my view on Hwy 421 for about 5 miles.

Let me say that I love our farmers!!! I mean without them we don't eat (unless they only grow tobacco, which is not in my diet. LOL). This is my thing, when you are on a major highway in a tractor that can only go 25 mph, please pull over and let the 22 cars that are behind you go around. This particular driver had two nice spots to pull off, but didn't. He didn't really even attempt to even slightly pull off a little bit. I hope they are using the diesel for highway use, especially if you are going to ride on the road for 5 miles. I am not really complaining (okay, maybe I am just a little). When the speed limit is 55, I want to ride at 55 mph, not 25 mph looking at the rear of a tractor. There was only a few places to pass, but naturally cars were coming. The other thing about passing, he had so many lights blinking we couldn't tell if he was turning or not. Why the blinking lights?? I can see that big old thing in the middle of the road...you don't need to flash lights to let me know you are there. Just show a little consideration for your fellow Americans that are sharing the road.

Wasabi Movement:(!!!

I have exactly 7 months and 2 days before my world comes crumbling down. I didn't think it would happen to me, but if it didn't happen that would mean I would be dead (and I don't want that). Yes, in 7 months and 2 days I will be 40. I am not sure how time got away from me, but the dreaded age is fastly approaching. I have tried to lie about my age, but it is hard to pull that off since my family won't help me out. I started my Wasabi movement about 3 months ago. My motto is: I want to be hotter than Wasabi before I turn 40. My skin care has been the only thing that has gone right. My sun spots have faded(I even slathered down in sun block before swimming), and my skin is smooth. I have grown my hair long, and gotten some highlights. The diet...well, that has not happened, and I am not sure it will happen. For one thing, I don't really care. Second, I am not trying. I hate to diet and exercise. So I think the wasabi movement is now officially the black pepper movement. I will be hotter than black pepper by my 40th birthday.

Still in Love!!!

I sat behind this older couple in church yesterday. I know that they have to be married almost 60 years. I first noticed that they sat very close. Then during the annoucements she reached over and pattied him on the leg. He ever so gently took her hand and held it. She smiled at him and he smiled at her. The whole time I was thinking how sweet that people in their 80's are still in love. In a world when most people can't stay in love 2 years. I am sure they have had trying times, but their love has endured. What a great testament of true love that was expressed by two people without a lot of fanfare. I have noticed how her husband always has a protective hand out for her when she gets up or down. You can see their love for each other just by observing them. What a wonderful thing to experience yesterday...true love still exists after all these years. It is refreshing to see that instead of hearing about a divorce.

My Life or Yours???

I am scanning my Facebook page seeing what my friends are up to today (btw, haven't seen people in 20 yrs, but since FB I have to know what they are doing everyday now). One comment catches my eye, "I wish I had your life". It was a comment after one of my friends posted something great about her day (like they would post the crappy stuff). It made me think..would I want someone else's life? NO!! I love my life. It's not perfect, but then again noone else's is either. I know what my past and my present and even what my future holds. I don't know anyone else's life, but I know mine. I have no regrets in life, except maybe not sticking with piano lessons(mom always said I would regret this). I mean that is not weighing on my mind so heavily that it keeps me up at night. I had a great childhood and wonderful teenage years. I married the man of my dreams, and he continued to spoil me where daddy left off. I do regret not trying to have a baby again when I had the chance. I am not depressed sobbing my eyes out about it every waking moment, but there are regrets. It really is not an issue to me until someone makes it an issue. Like not having children makes you a horrible person. Life hasn't always been easy, but who's life has been a bowl of cherries? My biggest reason for never wanting to trade lives with someone is...I know where I am going after I leave this earth. That is something you can't know about another person, no matter how well you think you know them. Why trade assurance for unassurance? While some may look like they have it all and have it all together...you never know. I say stick with what you know. You never know a person's regrets or mistakes in their past, but you do know yours. For the record...I choose my life. It's not always perfect, but I know where it's been and where it is going.

Crazy Fit!!!

I am driving through Southern Pines when I see the bank sign that says the temperature is 98 degrees. I am mentally complaining that I have to get out of the car at 2 of my stops. Getting in and out of the heat makes me have a headache. I cruise on down the road when I spot a man carrying a sledge hammer above his head and running up a hill. Close on his heels is this little wisp of a blonde carrying weights. I would be alarmed by the man and the sledge hammer, but I have seen this act before. These are people from the gym down the road. I first think to myself why any sane person would be running in 98 degree weather? Second, I don't think that an ounce of fat probably wouldn't stay on these people if it wrestled them to the ground. Maybe this is why they are fit, because they don't look for excuses to exercise.

I personally can give you 5 off the top of my head. 1. it's too hot 2. I don't belong to a gym 3. walking on the side of the road is dangerous 4. walking on the walking trails are dangerous 5. gym membership is not in my budget. I saved the best excuse for last....I don't like nor do I want to exercise. That is best excuse of them all.

I watched these people run with these objects in this heat and I thought...how crazy is that. I guess they are die hard fitness fanatics. They are probably not sneaking around eating M&M's or scarfing down a Big Mac. They are probably dining on water cress and vitamin water. They can have all the lettuce and cucumbers...give me their steak...I will eat it for them. I have come to the conclusion (actually I knew this all along) that I am not a fitness fanatic...I am not even a fitness want-a-be. I wouldn't mind being thin...I just don't like the process of getting there. A world with raw vegetables and tofu doesn't appeal to me at all. I do my part...I drink diet drink and get sugar free candy. I actually do this because the doctor is convinced that I have sugar problems. Of course, I have sugar problems....I am so sweet (you can laugh...I can't hear you).

So you can run in 100 degree weather if you want. I will sit in my cool car munching on my Chick-fil-a sandwich and watch as run up the hill with a sledge hammer.
